The St. Louis Blues know it’s too late and useless to complain about Game 3 and the illegal goal that handed (pun intended) the San Jose Sharks the win to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

But you better believe their frustration lingers and that the players are ready to play with much intensity tonight in Game 4.

After the morning skate prior to Friday night’s showdown, Blues forward Patrick Maroon even had a message to the Sharks themselves. A message he told reporters in the Blues’ dressing room to take to the Sharks so they know what’s coming to them.

“We are excited. It’s a new day. Probably the biggest game of the year is tonight. We have to set the tone right away. Let them know we’re coming, and we are pissed off.”

Did the Sharks hear Maroon?

Fans should expect one great game tonight: either the Blues manage to even things up in the series or the Sharks will take quite the advantage going back home on Sunday aftertoon.
