The Pittsburgh Penguins are one win away from hoisting the Stanley Cup and the city of Pittsburgh can't contain it's excitement.

According to a report from Lexi Belculfine of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the city has already renamed Murray avenue to Matt Murray avenue in honor of the Penguins golanteder that has led them this far into the playoffs. Before you worry too much about the potential postal disasters this could cause, it's only a cosmetic honor and will just be for the one day.

From the Post-Gazette:

On Thursday, it’s not Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill — call it Matt Murray Avenue.

Pittsburgh City Council today passed a “Will of Council” that renames the thoroughfare for the day, when the Pittsburgh Penguins take on the San Jose Sharks in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals.

There's no doubt that hockey fans in Pittsburgh believe he has earned that honor.
