Matt Murray ROBS Connor McDavid with beautiful glove save on penalty shot

Midway through the second period of tonight’s game between the visiting Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins, Oilers captain Connor McDavid, easily the most exciting player in all of hockey, was awarded a penalty shot, the most exciting play in all of hockey. You already know how this ends, right? WRONG!

McDavid was absolutely STONEWALLED by Penguins net minder Matt Murray who stayed with McDavid the entire time and made a GORGEOUS glove save to preserve his team’s 2-1 lead.
