Matthews struggles to keep focus in Arizona amidst quarantine

Like most of us stuck at home these days, NHL superstars are also slowing driving themselves crazy.

Take Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews. He’s currently binge-watching trash reality TV shows like “Love is Blind” just to stave off boredom.

Matthews watched Love is Blind because "it was right there," then watched it several more times because he wanted all his friends to see. Freddie isn't a fan of Love Island, but Matthews likes it - "I don't know what the appeal is, it's pretty awful, but I can't turn back now."

That’s… concerning… lol

Even more concerning though is that Matthews seems to admit that he’s having trouble keeping focus while in quarantine back home in Arizona.

Thankfully though, Matthews has his goalie and good friend Frederik Andersen riding out the pandemic with him in Arizona. So, are the two keeping in shape by shooting pucks in the driveway? Not quite…

Matthews did say he's been working on his shot during this time, but isn't putting housemate Freddie Andersen in net - "I wouldn't do that. He's not a road hockey goalie, he likes to play out anyway."
