McDavid releases trailer for upcoming documentary

With 27 goals and 76 points through 49 games so far this season, it’s hard to remember that Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid sustained a SERIOUS knee injury during the final regular season game of the 2018-19 season. McDavid was looking at potentially sitting out the entire 2019-20 season due to injury… now he’s leading the league in scoring. Again. 

The kid just won’t quit.

But, evidently, there’s more to the story that hockey fans don’t know. Earlier today McDavid released a trailer for a Sportsnet documentary on his injury and recovery called “Whatever It Takes”.

The documentary will premiere following the NHL All-Star Skills Competition on Friday evening, with subsequent showings on Saturary at 6:30ET, Tuesday 8pm ET and Wednesday at 7pm ET.
