McPhee reveals yet another part of his strategy.

With the availability list for every team revealed, it's now time for the Golden Knights' GM to lick his chops. It must be a pretty amazing feeling to have the choice between star players in every roster for free.

However, McPhee has been pretty vocal about his wish to negotiate with every team before making his picks. He's not the guy who will rummage through every roster like a savage, or so he says. In fact, he's a fine diplomat. 

The expansion was approved by the majority of the league's owners, but now they're faced with the consequences. It's actually a pretty smart move to negotiate like that from a McPhee's perspective, as he's setting the table for a lot more discussions in the future.
