Mel Gibson hangs out with owner Eugene Melnyk at Sens’ game

We wonder if it’s a new way for the Ottawa Senators to get more folks to their games… 

On Tuesday night, the attendance in Ottawa was pretty good as they celebrated the career of Chris Phillips, however, he was outshined by a real movie star, Mel Gibson. 

Gibson sat next to owner Eugene Melnyk in a suite. Fans started posting pictures and videos of the two men hanging out together. 

The famous actor in reportedly in town for the shooting of the movie Fat man. 

The funny thing is that Gibson was wearing a Sabres’ cap.

Maybe not what the Senators fans were hoping to see and some wonder if Gibson could be interested in buying the team!
