If the Stanley Cup Final ends this evening we may have a preview of who may win the Conn Smythe.

According to ESPN insider Pierre Lebrun, who also happens to be one of the eighteen voters of the Conn Smythe Committee the race for the award is down to one of two men. The two men are Penguins forwards Sidney Crosby, the team's captain, and recently acquired forward Phil Kessel, who has been huge for Pittsburgh.

"It sounds like it's building up to a Kessel versus Crosby vote," said Lebrun as per Nichols Hockey. "I think Crosby deserves it."

Lebrun stated that if the ballot were right now he would in fact vote for Crosby, and would have Kessel or goaltender Matt Murray at number two. It will be interesting if a performance tonight from Kessel, Murray, or even some members of the San Jose Sharks could change that vote.
