It seems like one player's agent isn't shy about making his client's plans relatively obvious to the hockey world.

In an interview with News 1130 Sports Gerry Johansson, agent for Los Angeles Kings forward Milan Lucic, made it sound like a deal between him and his client wasn't likely to get done before the free agent market opened up.

"Milan Lucic would love to re-sign with Kings but is preparing for July 1st as well."'

There's a reason his client is preparing for July 1st, according to Johansson there have been no talks with the Kings as of late, and initial reports suggested the two sides weren't on the same page in terms of both term and salary.

The most interesting part of the interview however came when Johansson appeared to reveal the frontrunners for his client's services this summer, the Vancouver Canucks, Lucic's hometown team.
