The Minnesota Beer League FULL of NHL stars

In the state of Minnesota, hockey is life. The state generates more NHL calibre talent than anywhere else in the United States and is a haven for puck nuts across the globe. While hockey is king across Canada, Minnesotans have a unique hockey culture that has to be experienced to truly be understood.

And it’s that culture and love of the game that’s endemic to the state that created Da Beauty League, featuring some of the highest calibre beer-league hockey you’ll EVER see. Every offseason native Minnesotans return home to the land of 10,000 lakes for some rest and relaxation, but don’t try to keep them away from the game they love. Dozens of NHLers are participating in this summer’s league and the rosters rival some NHL squads.

Those are some good squads. We’re partial to team Walser: Byfuglien and Bogosian on D, the van Riemsdyk brothers and rookie stud Brock Boeser up front. But, team Tradition doesn’t look bad either: McDonagh and Skjei patrolling the blue line with Anders Lee and another young stud in Kieffer Bellows up front.
