A significant move from the Minnesota Wild.

It's been obvious for some time that the Minnesota Wild would be looking to work out some veteran forwards during training camp, it just wasn't clear which ones would actually accept a PTO from the Wild.

On Monday we learned at least one of the answers to that question when it was revealed by Minnesota Wild insider Mike Russo of the Star Tribuna that the organization had in fact agreed to a PTO with former Chicago Blackhawks forward Thomas Fleischman.

Fleischman has bounced around quite a bit over the past two seasons, playing for a total of 4 different teams over that stretch, but continued to produce at a respectable rate last season despite that putting up 25 points in 66 games split between the Habs and Blackhawks.

His biggest attribute at this stage of his career is obviously his experience, but he's one player we wouldn't be surprised to see signed to the roster at the end of this professional tryout period.
