Montreal Canadiens owner makes disturbing comments about state of the organization

The Montreal Canadiens haven't played nearly as well as everybody predicted before the start of the season. Their record is indeed disappointing, but the team's performances on the ice aren't the only disappointing aspect: the whole Carey Price saga was a complete mess for the Habs. 

Head coach Claude Julien and general manager Marc Bergevin have both refused to reveal what is truly going on with their star player, which, frankly, didn't please the fan base. But that is not all: according to CapFriendly, the Canadiens have nearly $7 million in cap space, which means Bergevin could easily find a way to improve his team.

It is fair to believe the fans are starting to get frustrated.

As a matter of fact, Habs owner Geoff Molson admitted last night that the organization is struggling to sell tickets. In an interview with Jeremy Filosa, who works for Quebec-based 98,5 FM, he mentioned the Bell Center isn't even sold out anymore. 

Here's what he had to say:

"There may be a few hundred seats we aren't able to sell, but we still feel like the fans are invested and our attendance statistics are still great. Therefore, we aren't worried about that."

"A few hundred seats"? This is HUGE in Montreal! It feels like the Bell Center has been sold out forever. But it looks like the fans have had enough, and some believe they are trying to send a message to the organization.

Perhaps you SHOULD get worried, Mr. Molson.
