The Montreal Canadiens showed no mercy on Friday during the 2016 Winter Classic
Despite the fact that they were playing in front of a very enthusiastic and passionate crowd in Boston, the Canadiens absolutely trounced the Bruins, eventually winning the game 5-1 and forcing a change in goal after an offensive onslaught.
However the day wasn't without it's bad news for the Canadiens, the Habs suffered an injury, losing forward Dale Weise on the same day the saw the return of another injured forward, Brendan Gallagher.
No word yet on serious the injury to Weise is at this time, the Canadiens are likely waiting for him to be evaluated by team medical staff.
