The situation appears to be locked down

For the last two summers, one of the most intriguing topics has been the future of veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and while there have always been rumors he would be traded, he has thus far remained a Penguins.

It did not take long, with the expansion draft ahead, everybody linked Fleury to Vegas Golden Knights which makes sense since insider revealed this was the only destination he was willing to go.

Elliotte Friedman added some oil on the already raging fire by mentioning, “I think Marc-Andre Fleury is staying in Vegas, and I think immediately that is going to bring you some stability.

Flyers seems to be out of the mix for now.

Reminder: Earlier this week, Louis Domingue, Arizona Coyotes goaltender believe Vegas will get him to trade him to the Philadelphia Flyers right after. “I truly believe the Golden Knights will pick him and trade him as soon as possible to the Philadelphia Flyers.” Said Domingue on TVA Sports.

There’s a lot of goalie available right now and McPhee benefit from the situation to get a forward in return of Marc-Andre Fleury,” continued Domingue.
