More huge news for Red Wings prospect Anthony Mantha.

This is turning into a really good couple of days for Red Wings prospect Anthony Mantha, who doesn't sound like he will be a prospect much longer.

First Mantha was finally called up to the big club ahead of a massively important games for the Red Wings this evening. The Wings will face off against Philadelphia, who despite being three points back of the Red Wings for a playoff spot, currently have three games in hand.

The second big piece of news for Mantha game at practice today where by the looks of things the Red Wings will be giving him significant time to find his groove, pairing him up with both Pavel Datsyuk and Tomas Tatar. There's also an expectation that Mantha will see time on the power play.

However with all that said this latest bit of news might be the biggest yet for young Anthony Mantha, and it comes directly from the Red Wings head coach. According to a report from Ansar Khan of Mlive Jeff Blashill has informed the media that Mantha will be remaining with the Red Wings for the long term.

Something tells us Anthony Mamtha is feeling pretty good about life right now.
