More problems between Jonathan Drouin and Lightning.

This has got to be one of the most dysfunctional relationships between a player and an organization across the entire league.

Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Jonathan Drouin once again finds himself on the team's bad side, assuming he ever left, following the announcement that he will be forced to sit out the Syracuse Crunch's next game. The team has made the decision to effectively suspend Drouin for one game after he missed a team meeting on Tuesday reportedly due to sleeping in.

Drouin had recently made his return to the Crunch following a trade demand earlier in the year after he and his agent made the decision to leave the organization to apply pressure on general manager Steve Yzerman in the hopes of forcing a trade. He has played well since returning, likely an attempt to audition himself for other National Hockey League clubs, but more signs of trouble may have a negative impact on his trade value.

The Crunch has stated this "doesn't change how the organization feels about him" but it's hard to imagine a scenario in which the Lightning and their American Hockey League affiliate have any patience left for the antics of this young man.
