Arizona Coyotes coach Dave Tippett just made a decision that cost his team a 2nd round pick : Lawson Crouse stays in the lineup.

This decision made hand-in-hand with general manager John Chayka gives the Florida Panthers a 2nd round pick as the rookie will play his tenth game tonight against the Winnipeg Jets. Prior to this season, the Coyotes got Dave Bolland (and his 5.5M Average Annual Value contract) along with Lawson Crouse for a 3rd round pick at the 2017 NHL Draft and a conditionnal 2nd round pick in 2018.

Crouse, a bid-bodied left winger scored a goal and added 4 penalty minutes in 9 games while playing an average of 11 minutes so far with the 'Yotes.

The young winger would have been eligible for another junior year in the OHL.
