Mumps outbreak hurting Canucks trade deadline chances.

So, the mumps got spread like wildfire in Vancouver, but an unexpected turn of events is happening tonight. 

With only two scouts in house so close to the end of the trading period, it's going to be hard making something happen. 

Vancouver is expected to miss the playoffs at the current pace, but the team could still benefit from the trading window to boost its choices bank for the next draft or trade gritty veterans for promising young guns. 

Hopefully, the scouts will come back soon enough, with a healthy dose of Purell on hand.
