Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray left Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers after colliding with forward Jakub Voracek.

After the game Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan revealed that Murray suffered a lower-body injury and is now week-to-week.

Tristan Jarry had to take over last night, and the 22-year-old goalie revealed what Murray told him on his way out.

Jarry is looking to help his starter and his team, now that Murray is sidelined. The young netminder has four games of NHL experience, three of which occurred this season. He has one win with a 2.57 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.

The Flyers were leading 2-1 at the time of the injury, but the Penguins rallied to win 5-4 in overtime, proving that Murray's words did encourage young Jarry.
