First, they lost their star player, Jack Eichel, during the pre-season.

Second, they traded for Evander Kane.

And now, their new acquisition Kyle Okposo just got robbed by Ben Bishop of a sure goal.

The Sabres are second-to-last in the east, a point ahead of the Islanders. They would have taken that goal, but then again, it would have have been in another lost cause so they'd better save it for later.
