Must See: Braden Holtby dresses as skater, takes shots at Capitals practice

The NHL offseason is time for experimenting.

Elite Washington netminder Braden Holtby had some fun at the Capitals practice this morning, dressing as a skater and taking shots. 

The Capitals aren't really in need of another star forward with talents like Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, T.J. Oshie, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Andre Burakovsky in the lineup, but it certainly would be interesting to see a talented NHL goaltender lace up as a skater for a game. 

The 27-year-old is coming off another strong season in which he played 60-plus games and posted a .925 save percentage. He'll be counted on once again in 2017-18 after a disappointing second-round playoff exit at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
