Charlie Lindgren was truly impressive when he was recalled by the Montreal Canadiens, back in November, when Carey Price was injured. Not many people predicted he was going to be that good in the NHL, and keep the Habs in the mix for so long.
Now even though he's back with the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League, that doesn't mean he'll stop giving everything he's got to help his team win. Oh no.
The 23-year-old goaltender made a couple of very impressive plays on Wednesday night, as the Rocket was facing the Binghamton Devils.
Take a look at this beautiful pad save, early in the second period:
And believe it or not, he wasn't done:
Hey, this is just amazing. This is just a matter of time before he gets called back by the Canadiens.
In 8 games with the Habs this season, Lindgren posted a record of 3-4-1, a goals against average of 2.43 and a save percentage of .924.
