Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux opened the scoring against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night, cranking one past Frederik Andersen on a perfectly executed faceoff set up play.

This goal was Giroux 13th goal of the season. He now has 33 points in his 30th game of the season. The Hearst, Ontario native, drafted 22nd overall by the Flyers in 2006, has produced 608 points in 686 games played in the NHL so far.

The Maple Leafs are currently leading 2-1 after the second period.
