Must See: Daniel and Henrik hook up for some classic Sedinery

The Vancouver Canucks have surprised a lot of hockey fans this season. The team’s 8-5-2 record to start the season trumps all of the experts opinions who predicted the team would finish in the basement of the NHL standings. Yet, 15 games into the season the team is firmly in a playoff spot and just one point back of second in the Pacific Division.

One prediction however, seems to be holding up. The Sedin twins, Henrik and Daniel, aren’t what they used to be. The 37-year-old former superstars are in a steady decline and their ice time under new Canucks head coach Travis Green is a strong indication of that. For the first time in 15 seasons, the Canucks have a top line not centered around the Sedin twins, but rather Bo Horvat, Brock Boeser and Sven Baertschi.

It’s not all gloom and doom for the Sedins though. They managed to turn back the clock last night with a classic Sedin goal against the Calgary Flames.

Check it out:

Picture perfect. Except… usually it’s Henrik dishing it to Daniel for the goal. In any case, Canucks fans will take it. The living legends only have so many more of these left in them, so let’s just appreciate it when it happens.
