Must See: Duchene’s silky smooth mitts

The target of so much rumor and speculation this offseason, Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene, apparently isn’t letting things get to him. Earlier this week the star forward shared a photo of himself chilling on the lake and enjoying the offseason summer vibes. Today however, he shared a different side of himself, a side we’re all a little more familiar with.

Check out Duchene’s moves in this Instagram clip where he dekes through a dozen or so pucks without so much as flinching:

So. Smooth. His wrists move like he’s painting a picture. 

Moves like this only serve to excite fans across the NHL who are eager for their team’s GM to step up and make an offer on the talented 26-year-old sniper. While Duchene has long been speculated to be on the way out in Colorado, Avs GM Joe Sakic has failed to pull the trigger on a deal, despite reportedly having offers from several teams including the Montreal Canadiens, New York Islanders, Nashville Predators and Boston Bruins.

Where do you think Duchene ends up in 2017-18? Several analysts and insiders have maintained that the star WILL be traded this offseason, but as the offseason winds down and we draw nearer to training camp, will the Avs run out of options?
