The Edmonton Oilers desperately needed a win Saturday night against the Calgary Flames, especially after losing at the hands of the Toronto Maple Leafs by an own goal from Kris Russell.
The hockey gods smiled down on Edmonton, with fate restoring the balance of things, as TJ Brodie scored on his own net in the dying minutes of the game, as the Flames found themselves down 1 goal.
They had mounted an impressive comeback - nearly erasing a 5-goal deficit.
Must be an Albertan thing...
