Eric Staal scored his first goal of the season Saturday, and it was a pretty one. It was even more special for him because it was against his former team, the Carolina Hurricanes. Stall, 32, was drafted second overall by the Hurricanes in 2003. He played 11 full seasons in Carolina, before being traded to the New York Rangers during the 2015-2016 season. He was signed as a free agent by the Minnesota Wild in July of 2016. In 1013 games played, Stall registered 848 points. He added 44 points in 53 playoff games. He won the Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes in 2006.
