Most people will say that Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry got what he deserved. The Ducks star forward really got under the skin of Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick.
And things escalated quickly.
The two players threw heavy punches at the start of the second period last night, in an intense game where both Ducks goaltender John Gibson and Kings captain Anze Kopitar have to leave the ice due the NHL’s concussion protocol.
So Quick was having none of it.
The netminder got a roughing penalty on the play - but we're pretty sure he didn't mind.
