NHL superstars Sidney Crosby and Nathan McKinnon may be opponents on the ice, but off the ice the Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia natives are actually great friends. The pair have teamed up for series of ads from Canadian fast good giant Tim Hortons and their latest ad in which they drive a Zamboni through a Tim Hortons drive-thru is currently ALL over television in Canada.

Just yesterday though, Tim Hortons released the priceless outtakes from Crosby and MacKinnon’s ad. Let’s just say that the boys shouldn’t quit their day jobs anytime soon…

Not going to lie… the bloopers were WAY funnier than the actual commercial. Tim Hortons should have ran those instead of the final commercial!

Crosby, MacKinnon and Tim Hortons made an even bigger buzz yesterday though when they released a video of the two NHL stars surprising a visiting African hockey team, the Kenya Ice Lions.

Check out this awesome video of Sid and MacKinnon surprising the team and then taking the ice with them in Toronto:

How awesome is that!? Check out some of these quotes from the team on their trip to Canada and meeting their heroes:

"It's a dream to be in Canada," captain Ben Azegere told his teammates in the locker room during the video shared by Tim Hortons. "To play our first game in full gear, it's all amazing."
But then Crosby and MacKinnon showed up, driving many of the players to tears.
"Sidney," Azegere said, "Seeing my favorite player come through the door wearing our jersey, I felt like I was in heaven."
Crosby and MacKinnon surprised the Kenyan team, but they were the ones who were left impressed by the African team's talent.
"I didn't know what to expect, but I thought those guys looked great," MacKinnon said. "It's cool to see the genuine excitement that they had, and it got us really fired up."
Tim Hortons will help fund Kenya's youth hockey league, so there will be many more games in the days ahead.
"That's the best part about the game, is how it reaches so many people," Crosby said. "Even in a place like Kenya, where you wouldn't think that there's even ice."
