Must see: Jagr takes on mentor role for young Flames star

The Calgary Flames made an incredibly savvy move by picking up Jaromir Jagr on a cheap one-year deal. 

The Flames are a very young and dynamic team, boasting top talent including Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Matthew Tkachuk, and Sam Bennett, among others.

We already saw how Jagr impacted the development of the kids on the Florida Panthers - Jonathan Huberdeau, Aleksander Barkov and co. were extremely fortunate to have a living legend mentor them and now it's Calgary's turn to reap the benefits of his experience and wisdom.

Jagr can be seen here already beginning his duties as mentor in Calgary - Sam Bennett appears to be the first recipient of the ageless wonder's knowledge. Bennett is a 4th overall pick that fans and management are still waiting to see become a star for this team; he regressed last season with only 26 points after putting up 36 in fewer games the season prior.

Jagr may be a solution to the kid's development.
