Must See: Murray makes an incredible diving stick save

Last night’s low scoring affair between the Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins certainly did not lack in excitement. With superstars Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid both in action, many fans and analysts expected a game filled with highlight reel goals, and while McDavid held up his end of the bargain with a laser to tie the game, it was Penguins goaltender Matt Murray who really stole the show with a save of the year candidate.

With Murray covering the far side post and Oilers center Mark Letestu standing all alone right in the slot, the puck somehow managed to sneak out and find it’s way onto Letestu’s stick. Unfortunately for him, his shot somehow managed to find Murray’s stick.
