Must See: NHL superstar races around the track at Bommarito 500

Most NHLers spend their offseason relaxing at the cottage with some fishing, golfing or water skiing. St. Louis Blues star Vladimir Tarasenko? He’s a little different. The 25-year-old Russian sniper recently took in the Bommarito 500 in Madison, Illinois, but before the flag dropped he decided to take a spin in an IndyCar himself.

No word on whether head coach Mike Yeo has seen the footage yet. We’re guessing that he’s probably lying somewhere in the fetal position if he has. On second thought… maybe just keep these clips away from him for now. The Blues don’t need their head coach waking up in cold sweats during the night in advance of training camp.
