Must See: Penguins choose unique gift for President Trump

The Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins made their return to the White House yesterday, visiting with President Trump in what was mostly an apolitical event. While some fans and members of the media had been calling for the team to make some sort of political stance or protest during the visit, nothing of the sort occurred. 

The 4th time at the White House for superstars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin went more or less the same as it had in previous, less politically charged times. There was one difference however. Instead of awarding President Trump with a custom jersey like they had previously with President Bush and President Obama, the Penguins awarded Trump with a custom Adidas golf bag.

How cool is that? Of course, some fans and members of the media are looking for a way to spin the gift as some sort of political statement or even an insult to the President. To us though… it just looks like a pretty cool golf bag. Your thoughts? Is there more to this story?
