Vancouver Canucks' defenseman Chris Tanev was the victim of an unfortunate and hilarious situation during last night's game against the Boston Bruins.

When Tanev was knocked down from behind by Bruins' Ryan spooner, he ended up flat on the ice right by an ad on the boards saying : "have you been checked lately?"

It the most unfortunate fashion, Tanev got up and deflected a point shot that fooled his goaltender, Jakob Markstrom.
