Must see: Puljujarvi scores in his first game this season!

Jesse Puljujarvi was recalled from the Bakersfield Condors on Friday after Anton Slepyshev was placed on injured reserve.

He made his mark in his very first game this season for the Edmonton Oilers.

The fourth overall pick has reportedly been excelling in the AHL and wasn't expected to be called up anytime soon, with management opting to give him development time. Slepyshev's injury fast tracked his arrival to the NHL this season, and he's already showing he belongs.
