Nathan Beaulieu got wasted and ruined former NHLer’s wedding!

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Nathan Beaulieu is not having a great run this year - or the past few as a matter of fact - and things have gotten worse now that his agent is seeking a trade to have him play elsewhere before Monday. 

While his agent is trying to sell his services to other teams across the NHL, former NHler Brandon Prust’s wife Maripier Morin, a Montreal showbiz star, has revealed some shocking details about Beaulieu’s behaviour off the ice. During a reveal-all interview on the air of TVA (in French), Morin mentioned that she regrets inviting Beaulieu to her wedding because he was drunk and puking at 10 pm that special night. 

Prust and Beaulieu became friends when they were both members of the Montreal Canadiens before Prust was traded to the Vancouver Canucks in 2015. Beaulieu ended up on the move as well, joining the Sabres in 2017. 

This season, Beaulieu has been more often than not a healthy scratch and is said to be looking for a trade in order to get more playing time elsewhere. In 27 games this year in Buffalo, Beaulieu has posted three goals and seven points, and hasn’t played since Jan. 30 against the Dallas Stars. The blue liner has mentioned several how frustrated he has been in Buffalo… 

Some folks have mentioned in the past that Beaulieu is hard to manage and doesn’t always have a good attitude in the dressing room… If he can ruin his close friends’ wedding, imagine what he can do to a teammate or coach he does not like…
