It's been a strange story from the very begging, and now finally for Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane, there is some closure.

In July of 2016 several charges of harassment and trespassing were levied against Kane but in October of last year a judge ruled that the charges could be dropped if Kane demonstrated several months of good behavior.

Now according to a breaking news report from WIVB4 the charges against Kane are no more:

The trespassing and harassment charges against Buffalo Sabres player Evander Kane have been dropped, Kane’s lawyer Paul Cambria confirmed Tuesday.

The charges were dismissed and Kane’s case sealed on April 30.

The whole situation proved to be a big embarrassment for the Buffalo Sabres at the time of the incident, and there were even rumors Kane could be traded as a result. That being said Kane is coming off a strong season and with the charges now dismissed and the case sealed, perhaps Kane and the Sabres can move forward together.
