NHL arenas to band together tonight in tribute to healthcare, frontline and essential workers

According to a report from NHL insider Chris Johnston of Sportsnet “more than half” of the NHL’s 31 arenas will band together this evening in a showing of support for healthcare workers and essential workers on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19.

Incredible. I have to say that I’m absolutely loving these symbolic gestures during just a trying time. Symbolism sometimes doesn’t get you anywhere, but it’s really heartening to see communities come together because of gestures like this.
