Some NHLer's contract seem to be negotiated so smoothly. For example, Carey Price's contract was negotiated far from the public eye and, although immense, it fixes problems for a long time in Montreal.

However, all is not so fine for every NHLer across the league. Centerman Jordan Martinook is now a RFA and according to reports, he will have to go to arbitration to find a solution with his actual Coyotes.

The Coyotes extended him an offer on July first, along with Nick Cousins, who subsequently signed for two years and $2 million, Anthony Duclair and minor leaguers Tyler Gaudet and Marek Langhamer. Martinook is the only one not under contract just yet.

Summer will be definitely hot in Arizona for Martinook!
