The NHL season is finally under way and already, one of the 31 clubs is said to be in full on trade mode. And it is NHL insider Bob McKenzie who is reporting it, so you know this team is on to something.

The Vegas Golden Knights have yet to play their first game of the season - and ever for that matter - and already they are looking to be quite active on the trade market. According to McKenzie, the Knights are looking to trade one of their netminders and a defenseman.

Vegas claimed Malcolm Subban off waivers on Tuesday, but had to sent down Vadim Shipachev and young defender Shea Theodore. The plan now is to make room for Theodore by letting go of, potentially, goalie Calvin Pickard and another blue liner.

It will be interesting to see how the Knights can move the puzzle pieces around to bring back Theodore in the lineup.

One report that we will need to keep an eye this early in the 2017-18 season!
