NHL coach calls out his players after another embarrassing loss!

Well, he had to say it.

The Buffalo Sabres have been extremely bad lately, to say the least.

They have lost 10 of their last 11 games, between November 10th and December 1st. After yesterday's 4-0 loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins, former star defenseman and now Sabres' head coach Phil Housley decided that enough was enough.

He called out his players after what he described as an "embarrassing performance":

"It’s quite embarrassing. We had a game plan, and I don’t think we executed on that... The only way that it's gonna change is within that group in the room. They have got to make a choice, because obviously, we'd like to provide some more cheering for our fans. They come and support us, and we've got to do a better job here at home."

The Sabres are now ranked 30th in the league, and have the same amount of points as the Arizona Coyotes (who had the worst season start in the history of the NHL...). Let's just say it must feel bad.

Buffalo's going to play a second game in just as many nights against the Penguins, this time at the PPG Paints Center.
