NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly believes that the current CBA is keeping everybody happy.

NBC Sports reports that Daly thinks that no major tweaking needs to be done:

“I think there’s a general satisfaction with how the system is working,” he told SiriusXMNHL. Regarding the current CBA that is set to expire after the 2021-2022 season, Daly added: “It’s early, but I don’t see any storm clouds on the horizon, at least not yet.”

While the League is certainly happy, rumours have it that the NHLPA and its players will choose to opt out during the 2019-2020 season, as they’re reportedly sick of the escrow that is concerning due to the Canadian dollar performing as badly as it has in 2015-2016. This caused a loss of profits last season.
