NHL GM admits he's going after Milan Lucic.

One National Hockey League general manager is making his intentions very clear.

According to the official Vancouver Canucks social media account, general manager Jim Benning has plainly stated that he intends to reach out to veteran forward Milan Lucic following the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

Furthermore Benning quite bluntly stated that he is interested in acquiring Lucic, and when you consider what he brings to an offense as well as his marriageability in the Vancouver region it's probably a no-brainer for Benning.

While there is some belief that Lucic would like to play for the Canucks, there are also reports that he is looking for one final big money contract, and it may cost the Canucks a steep price if they wish to acquire him.

This story would likely be dominating the headlines today if not for the shocking rumor involving P.K. Subban out of Montreal.
