NHL insider advises Price to ask for trade

What is going on!?

The chaos that keeps unfolding in Montreal is growing stranger and stranger, and quite worrisome for a lot of Canadiens fans. The mysterious lower-body injury, the cheating scandal and the ongoing trade rumors have not been kind to Carey Price

After yet another hockey reporter came out with the rumor that Angela Price was looking to either get a divorce or move to another NHL club with her husband - a rumor she quickly denied on social media - now NHL insider Elliotte Friedman is suggesting Price should indeed look to be traded elsewhere.

Many NHL experts have discussed the possibility of Habs GM Marc Bergevin to undergo a complete rebuild in Montreal and Friedman advised Price to jump on board and ask for a trade.

"For the first time, I can see a situation where Carey Price gets traded. If someone walked up to you this second and claimed Price wanted out, could you blame him? I would protect my family at any cost," writes Friedman in his 31 thoughts

Friedman seems to believe - like many of us - that engaging in baseless conjecture about his personal life crosses the line and Price would be right to want to move.

The Canadiens could make some sweeping changes if they’re out of playoff contention by February.
