NHL Legend is left off his country's World Cup roster.

There was an obvious omission Czech Republic's roster for the World Cup of Hockey, which was announced on Wednesday.

Florida Panthers' forward Jaromir Jagr was not among the first 16 names selected to the roster, and his involvement in the tournament has been put into question.

Despite the fact that Jagr has already retired from the Czech national team, he would likely be welcomed with open arms, should he decide to play for his country once again.

The remaining roster spots are to be announced no later than June 1.

The 44-year old has 21 goals on the season and trails only Gordie Howe (801) and Wayne Gretzky (894) on the NHL's all-time list. This is Jagr's 22nd season of his decorated career.
