NHL legend stands up for Carey Price!
Keystone Press

Habs fans have the right to be worried, considering the Canadiens were only able to win one of their first seven games this season. The team hasn't played as well as it should have, and there are many players to blame for such a disappointing record.

We instantly think about Max Pacioretty, who has only scored once, against the Buffalo Sabres, Ales Hemsky or even Karl Alzner. But is Carey Price also part of the problem? NHL legend Mike Bossy believes it is not the case. In an interview on 91,9FM in Montreal, the former prolific goal scorer said Price couldn't do much better:

"It is normal for Carey Price to struggle. I mean, look at what's happening in front of him. How is it possible for him to play well?"

Indeed, Mike. Even though he should have stopped a couple of extra goals, it is hard to win games when your best forwards don't score goals, or when your defensemen are just getting used to each other.

Habs' netminder has only won one game, has a save percentage of .885 and a goals against average of .885.
