NHL star hits the ice as big bird during Tuesday practice.

Some National Hockey League players just love getting into the Halloween spirit. 

Yesterday we shared an image of Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid and girlfriend Lauren Kyle as Donald and Melania Trump, but on Tuesday Anaheim Ducks star Ryan Kesler took things to the next level.

A video emerged online of a person at Ducks practice skating out onto the ice in a massive costume as well-known Sesame Street character Big Bird. While it was initially unclear who was under there, the Ducks have spilled the beans.

According to the Ducks official social media, it was Kesler himself under the costume at practice, acting as if everything was perfectly normal. Good on him for having a little fun.
