NHL unveils officiating crew for the Stanley Cup Final.

The National Hockey League has officially announced the officiating crew that will oversee the Stanley cup Final and as expected the list includes a number of veteran officials.

A total of eight men will take on a very difficult and thankless job and that group is expected to be led by veteran officials Dan O'Halloran(pictured above) and Dan O'Rourke who will be head officials on the ice for Game 1 of the Cup Final.

Between them the eight man have 107 Cup Final games under their belt, and there is a belief, or perhaps a hope. that with this kind of veteran presence on the ice the officials role in the series should be minimal.
