One National Hockey League veteran is just a single game away from a huge career milestone.

On Monday night the Anaheim Ducks played the Toronto Maple Leafs and that game marked the 737th game in the career of Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano and more importantly the 737th consecutive game played of his NHL career.

It tied Cogliano for the fifth best NHL ironman streak of all-time with St. Louis Blues defenseman Jay Bouwmeester, and naturally as a result Cogliano now has a shot to claim that spot all for himself merely by appearing for the Ducks on Tuesday night when they face the Habs in Montreal.

Cogliana will have to get to 776 consecutive games to tie former Buffalo Sabre Craig Ramsay for fourth and all the way to 964 if he ever wants to match the record holder Doug Jarvis.
