From this moment forward National Hockey League veteran Brian Boyle is likely to be viewed as one of the toughest men in the entire league.

In a shocking announcement the New Jersey Devils have just revealed that Boyle, who has missed the entire NHL regular season thus far due to a battle with cancer, will be joining the Devils on the ice when they face the Vancouver Canucks.

To be clear Boyle has not been cured of the disease and is currently still fighting an ongoing battle with cancer, but despite that he is such a tough S.O.B. that he feels ready to play hockey, at the NHL level no less.

There aren't any words that are going to do this act of courage any justice, so we will leave you with a video that the Devils shared to commemorate their big announcement today.
